Techflow’s Premier Team on Tyneside

June 7th, 2012

Techflow Marine welcomed Mr Hwang and Mr Park, both of Gin-A’s Geoje Island (Korea) based service team, also, Raymond Kam and Jeremy Chng of Techflow Marine’s regional office, Singapore to take part in a 4 day training programme at our global headquarters in the North East of England. The programme was designed to give an advanced understanding of Techflow Marine systems, along with a sound knowledge of commissioning, test and maintenance procedures.

Once the training was complete, the team enjoyed a day out at St James’ Park, the home of Premier League team Newcastle United. Whilst visiting St James’ Park, the Korean Engineers were introduced to 2 of their national football heroes, Hong, Myeong-Bo and Kim, Tae-Young. Both played in the Korean national team during the 2002 World Cup, Hong, Myeong-Bo being team captain and South Korea’s most capped footballer with 136 appearances for his country. The coaches were in Newcastle to evaluate the football stadium and facilities ahead of their London 2012 Olympic Games campaign.
